Dr. Stephanie Pittenger

Dr. Stephanie founded Balanced Care Chiropractic in 2012 with a passion for helping individuals and families achieve better health through personalized, hands-on care. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2006, she has continued to expand her clinical expertise through extensive postgraduate education, including advanced studies in functional neurology.

Dr. Stephanie has a special focus on prenatal and family chiropractic care. She is Webster Certified and a proud member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), allowing her to support women through pregnancy and help create greater comfort and balance during this important stage of life.

In addition to chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Stephanie incorporates corrective exercises and rehabilitation strategies to help patients restore strength, improve mobility, and recover from injury more effectively.

As a former adjunct professor of biology at Aurora University, education has always been at the heart of her work. She believes that when patients understand their bodies, they are better equipped to take an active role in their healing and long-term wellness.

Born and raised in Streamwood, Illinois, Dr. Stephanie always knew she wanted to return home to serve the community that helped shape her. Today, she is proud to care for patients of all ages—from newborns to grandparents—while balancing life as a wife and mother to her three children, Phoenix, Zander, and Bailey.

Dr. Stephanie has a special passion for helping patients through pregnancy, caring for children and families, supporting athletes, and guiding patients through injury recovery and rehabilitation.
